Covenants, conditions, and restrictions, commonly called “CC&Rs” are a set of rules governing the use of a certain piece of real estate in a given community. Many “common interest” developments, including condominiums, neighborhoods, and co-ops, use them. They regulate the use, appearance, and maintenance of property.
This section provides practical and legal information on CC&Rs to help you understand what you can and can’t do with a property. A CCR Search will include any and every easement, condition and covenant that is recorded for the property. If there is a map associated with the property, it will be included in the search package as well.
